Speedometer
Speedometer and Sensors
Larger tires cover more ground per turn. On tires about 6 percent taller, an indicated 60 mph is closer to 64, so the speedometer needs recalibrating, and new wheels need their tire pressure sensors moved over or replaced.
Warranty
Your Warranty
A lift does not void your warranty on its own. Under federal law, the manufacturer or dealer must prove an aftermarket part caused the damage before denying coverage. Bigger tires do add load to bearings and steering parts, so keep your receipts.

What is the difference between a leveling kit and a lift kit?
A leveling kit raises only the front of the truck to match the rear. A lift kit raises the whole truck, either with body spacers or with new suspension parts that add clearance under the frame.
